Tasbīḥ After Ṣalāt 





1) Saying;

Subḥanallāh 33 times 

Alḥamdulillāh 33 times

Allāhu Akbar 33 times

[Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhari 843, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 595 from a ḥadith of Abū Hurayrah رضي الله عنه]


2) Saying;

Subḥanallāh 33 times, 

Alḥamdulillāh 33 times and 

Allāhu Akbar 34 times


[Reported by Muslim 596 from a ḥadith of Ka'b Ibn 'Urjah رضي الله عنه]


3) Saying

Subḥanallāh 33 times, 

Alḥamdulillāh 33 times, 

Allāhu Akbar 33 times and then

Lā ilāha illallāhu waḥdahu lā sharīka lahu lahul mulk walahul ḥamdu wahuwa 'alā kulli shay'in qadīr (once)

"Whoever does so after every prayer then his sins will be forgiven even they are like the foam of the sea".

[Reported by Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 597 from a ḥadith of Abū Hurayrah رضي الله عنه]


4) Saying

Subḥanallāh 25 times

Alḥamdulillāh 25 times

Allāhu Akbar 25 times

Lā ilāha illallāhu 25 times

[Reported by An-Nasā'i 1350 from a ḥadith of Zayd bin Thābit رضي الله عنه and declared Ṣaḥīḥ by Shaykh Al-Albanī رحمه الله]


5) Saying

Subḥanallāh 10 times

Alḥamdulillāh 10 times

Allāhu Akbar 10 times

[Reported by Bukhari 6329 from a ḥadith of Abū Hurayrah رضي الله عنه]


6) Saying

Subḥanallāh 11 times

Alḥamdulillāh 11 times

Allāhu Akbar 11 times

[Reported by Ṣaḥīḥ Bukhari 843 Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 595 from a ḥadith of Abū Hurayrah رضي الله عنه]
